Submersible axial flow pumps have various installation methods.  Are there any installation and usage methods you're unaware of? Let's introduce them below! Submersible axial flow pumps are characterized by high flow rate and low head; they are widely used in rainwater pumping stations, large-capacity water supply, and water intake projects in coastal areas and rivers.

When designing a submersible axial flow pump station, different types of pump stations can be designed according to the different usage environments, geographical features, and water intake methods. There are five main installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps: well-type installation, floating-type installation, skid-type installation, coupling-type installation, and pipeline-type installation.

The following details the specific usage methods and advantages:

1. Well-type installation: The pump is placed on a seat ring inside the wellbore, sealed by a sealing strip between the guide vane body and the wellbore seat ring, and equipped with anti-tilting and anti-reversing devices. This installation method is convenient and quick; for maintenance, simply open the top cover and lift the pump out of the wellbore.

2. Floating-type installation: The pump and pipeline are installed on a floating frame, and the position changes with the water level; widely used in rivers and coastal aquaculture. This installation method is movable and allows for water intake regardless of water level changes.

3. Skid-type installation: The pump is installed on a skid frame. During installation, it slides down along the guide rail, and the suction section is submerged in water. This installation method can be used with dams, is movable, and is especially suitable for water areas where building a pump station is not feasible, reducing excavation and saving engineering costs. IV. Coupled Installation: The pump and coupler are automatically connected via guide rail coupling components. This installation method is designed based on the installation characteristics of submersible sewage pumps, making it convenient, fast, and cost-effective.  For maintenance and repair, the pump body can be easily removed along the guide rail.

V. Pipeline Installation: The pump is installed in the pipeline, possessing the characteristics of a submersible axial flow pump, but with a higher head and a cost advantage compared to conventional axial flow pumps. It is used for short-distance secondary pressurization in pipelines.

The above are five common installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps.  The appropriate installation method can be selected based on the specific conditions of the pump station, saving engineering costs and facilitating convenient and efficient installation.  Our company also provides customized services, including on-site inspection, design recommendations, contract signing, and customized product manufacturing, based on specific usage requirements.
